Terms of use and disclaimer

Information only

The Mat Network is an independent guide to martial arts academies. Everything on this site is provided for general information only, as is, without warranties of any kind.

Class offerings, ages, instructors, hours, intro offers and other details can change at any time. Always confirm details directly with the school before you visit, sign up or pay.

Where listing details come from

Details come from each school's own website, information the school submits to us, and public listings such as Google. Ratings, review counts and review excerpts are a snapshot from the date shown and may be out of date. The current figures are on the original source, which we link to.

Review excerpts are the words of the original reviewers, not our own opinions, and are shown with attribution.

No endorsement, no responsibility for schools

Listing a school is not an endorsement, recommendation, certification or guarantee of its instruction, safety, staff, facilities or business practices. We do not run, supervise or inspect any school.

Martial arts training carries a risk of injury. Choosing a school, and any agreement, payment or activity with it, is solely between you and that school.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Mat Network and its operators are not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your use of this site, reliance on any listing, or dealings with any school or third-party website we link to.

For school owners

If you submit information, you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to share it, including any photos or logos. You can ask us to correct or remove your listing at any time and we will act promptly.

We may edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion.

Corrections and changes
